OPID

I spent the winter semester of 2018 in Iceland at the Iceland University of the Arts.

I was with  different influences and inspirations. Weather and nature, concentrated forces that appear very extreme compared to our Central European climate. The cold white north, an island in the middle of the Atlantic. The circumstances deviate significantly from my usual environment. people, culture, mentality.

Capture and process everything.

processing.

Paint, print, draw.

The title OPID is meant to evoke all the neon signs here. On the streets, they appear at almost every corner.

In addition, I connect my approach and relationship to art with this visual thought of the sign "OPID" - open formal language, show and allow open emotions, draw and create figures.

Dealing with depth and space.
